Place supevisee with families who share similar values

Observe how supervisee makes an effort to understand the family’s values and cultural background if they do not share similar cultural background, and attempts to learn. Train supervisee on how to address cultural differences, asking family for feedback on what they are comfortable with. Set goals related to cultural differences and researching background before they start working with he family. Touch up on it with supervisee and obtain feedback from patients and families.
